5 Stunning Meeting Spaces in London That Will Wow Your Guests

The aesthetic aspect of the meeting space is one crucial element that often overlooked by meeting planners. While emphasising other aspects such as location and rates, many planners take on the easy way by choosing a plain meeting room or booking a recurrent venue for any type of meetings. And that habit could take a bad tool on the mood of participants and kill the productivity that the meeting plans to achieve. If you're looking for a specific meeting room in London then it is very likely that we already have it.

An ideal meeting space should be inspiring and provoke progressive thinkings.
Studies have shown that room colour and interiors have significant effects on our creativity, concentration, as well as boost cognition and counteract relaxation and openness. Today, we look at five meeting spaces in London that not only charm meeting guests by their aesthetic design but also provide great meeting services to pamper your senses.

The Lancaster Room at The Savoy, London

With 476 square meters of total event space, the Lancaster Room is the largest room in the collection of 15 marvellous meeting spaces in the Savoy London. A true gem of open meeting spaces, it is perfect to host large events, big conferences, or celebrations. Named after the Duchy of Lancaster and designed by the acclaimed French architect Rene Sergeant, the Lancaster Room embraces the Edwardian style with high ceiling, prevailing painting of turquoise and white colour, and a totally open space with no obscuring pillars but one centre stage. The room can comfortably accommodate up to 800 guests in a free-form cocktail party or 500 guests in a theatre setup. Since its open, the Lancaster Room has hosted many royal events and welcomed many world's famous celebrities, such as actress Marilyn Monroe and the world acclaimed ballerina Anna Pavlova among the rest. In special occasions, the Lancaster Room can join with the adjoining Parlour Room to create a much larger space.

The Lancaster Room is the trade mark meeting space of the Savoy Hotel. Located in the heart of London between the City and Westminster, the hotel is close to Cover Garden and the West End. For so long, the Savoy has long been known as "London's most famous hotel" thanks to its alluring style and courteous services. The hotel's interior is a mixture of both the classical Edwardian style on the river side and the contemporary Art Deco on the Strand side. Two iconic venues that reflect these polarising styles are the American Bar and the Thames Foyer. First opened in 1983, the American Bar is one of the most iconic cocktail bars in the world. With its Art Deco motif and elegant vintage decor, the American Bar boasts an impeccable pedigree. On the other hand, the Edwardian Thames Foyer brings guests back in time to the glorious Victorian's era. The stunning glass dome provides plenty of natural light to shine on the winter garden gazebo in the middle. Meeting guests can enjoy teas and pastries while being serenaded by a pianist as a part of the Thames Foyer Afternoon Tea, an enduring custom in the Savoy. Other remarkable venues include the Art Deco Beaufort Bar, and the revamped Savoy Grill, headed by the legendary chef Gordon Ramsay.
